The key motivation for all

The key motivation for all activity is to get to know God. When mission became about anything less, it suffered. To get it back on track is to get people to journey into Me. SInce most ministries are not often about entering the life of Christ, but usually about helping others to do so-there needs to be a shift. Pilgrimage is one metaphore for this shift. In pilgrimage there is no goal other than to know God and to let Him form Himslef in you, it is an ideal frame for transformation. When we get caught up in ministry or our religious activities we loose sight of our key motivation-loving and knowing God.
