Also this one from Austin Sparks, “..yes we must preach, witness, testify; but the essential thing is that the Lord must BE there.” He goes on, “being there, standing there, being in close touch with heaven there.” This is our “job”. Not always to speak about, but to live from and in Jesus.

To be “the foothold of the heavenly Lord in the nations.” Just to be there, to be a place where he can show up!
