so we were studying the prayer of 1 Chronicles 8 where Solomon dedicates the temple… He was participating in a new kind of covenant, one the father made with David but fulfilled through his son–that He would hear from heaven the prayers offered toward the temple–that there would never cease to be a space of dwelling… Even after the physical temple was destroyed, Jesus as he had promised started building a temple for His Father’s name in us… Since the time of Solomon–god hasn`t left the building… but the building has changed from stones to bones. We ARE to be His dwelling place–we are a fulfillment of the promise given to David.
