hello friends. An unusual amount of emails wanting to know where we are and what we are doing comes to us. So this is week two in Austin, Texas, which is a space where we feel free to dream about our future together–what God wants to build thru us. Austin is natural to both of us; an arts town, where “art” isn’t separate from normal family and suburban life. It’s the “live music capital of the world” and has a vivacity that makes it perfect for exploring our own renaissance.
We’re here for a few weeks before setting off for NOrth Carolina to visit Derek’s family and then my family… please pray for us as this is a “first” for many things–first time meeting with our parents since we married, first holiday together, etc. We’re both excited but it’s a big deal!
